March 26, 2006 - Ampang, Kuala Lumpur - Initiated by IOA, Quranic Recitation Competition among revert Muslim was successfully organized. On the other hand, a special meeting for a community service project at Kampung Anyar, Bali, Indonesia was also conducted. Among the attendant, Chairman of IOA,Bro Azril Vice Chairman 1 IOA, Sis Normah, Mrs Siti Ilham from KBS, Program Co-ordinator Mrs Mariam and Bro Khairuddin, GPTD Co-ordinator. The meeting was conducted pertinent to community service project that was already started by Mrs Mariam. As the meeting was concerned, community service project at Bali will become a collaboration project with GPTD.
The main focus for this project is to uplift the education centre and religious infrastructure. The minority Muslim there really strive for their survival in every aspect of life. Concerned with the hardship face by the local community, GPTD will send its volunteer to assist this project by mid of April as a new project.
