November 12, 2005 - West Port, Port Klang - GPTD Chairman, Bro. Jufitri Joha attended reunion dinner SSEAYP on board of the Nippon Maru (Japan Ship). The reunion dinner was organized for the ex-Malaysia Participating Youth (PY) in The Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program (SSEAYP). Bro. Jufitri is the ex-PY for 2004.
SSEAYP is the program where all the PY from Japan and Southeast Asian are gathered in Nippon Maru and the ship will sail to almost 5 selected port in Southeast Asian including Japan. During the sailing, the PYs will conduct some youth activities such as discussion, cultural dance, national day, sport etc. While Nippon Maru berth in one country port, the PYs will involve in 5 days country program such as interaction with local youth, homestay, institutional visit and dinner.
Nippon Maru was berth in West Port for a week in conjuction of SSEAYP 2005 and Malaysia was the first port for SSEAYP 2005.
