May 3, 2006 – Jalan Duta - The commemoration of the World Press Freedom Day 2006 was held on 3 May 2006 in collaboration with the Malaysian Press Institute and the National Press Club, in cooperation with the United Nations and under the sponsorship of the Embassy of Finland in Malaysia. The event was attended by over 50 participants which include the members of the media, students, academics and fellow NGO representatives. GPTD Chairman among those who was present in this important event.
