GPTD News This Week


March 13, 2006 - Kuala Lumpur - GPTD Syria visited Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Jalan Tun Razak. GPTD Syria met Brother Asaad Ibrahim, Attache in embassy. He gave good response and suggested that the research on Syrian civilisation must be focused in since it is wide range comprises of Roman, Islamic and Jews civilisation. He further added that GPTD Syria to write a letter to ministry in Syria asking for assistant. He did give useful website related to Syria such as syriahistory.com, syriagate.com and syriantourism.org.

Meanwhile in the evening, GPTD leaders visited Federal Territory Department of Youth and Sport in Kampung Pandan. GPTD did mention to have some sort of cooperation with the department to train GPTD volunteers in action sports such wall climbing, go-kart, and futsal. They agreed to cooperate with and wanted to bring GPTD to visit Rakan Muda Secretariat in Putrajaya on March 14.

March 14, 2006 - Petaling Jaya - Brother Jufitri Joha, GPTD Chairman officiated PKPIM Matric Annual General Meeting. He urged all PKPIM members to be istiqamah in struggle and continue strive to ensure the continuance of dakwah. GPTD Coodinator, Brother Mohd Khairudin Mohd Nor also present. Meanwhile at night, Brother Jufitri Joha and Brother Mohd Akhmal Mohd Nor, GPTD Assistant Coordiator 2 attended a talk presented by Yang Mulia Tengku Tan Sri Mahaleel Tengku Ariff, ex-CEO Proton. In coclusion, GPTD should learn an aspect of management and strategic thinking from him in order to make GPTD more professional and efficient. He managed to bring Proton a way forwad and become one of the most profitable and succesful Government Linked Companies (GLC).
